Great weekend at Rugslandsbanen

We've had a sunny and exciting weekend at Rugslandsbanen this weekend. A lot of new impressions to be processed and a lot of new things to learn. All together, the weekend was a great success. The car worked, and we managed to finish it just 1.5 hours before technical brief started.

There were over 90 cars to start in the Senior class at Rugslandsbanen, and over 160 participants in total. Odd Arnold stayed mostly in the back of the field.

In 1st heat it went a bit wrong - half sleeping in the beginning and forgetfulness regarding gearing. But he managed to get 5th place. Mostly he stayed on the right side of the road - beside a little downhill in heat 2. With minor damage to the car it was right on for the next heat. In 3rd Heat it went much better, and he came out as number 3 in the start, but eventually had to be satisfied with a 5th place.

Odd Arnold was well out from the start in 4th heat as well. He managed to keep 5th place untill the penultimate turn. A little wrong gearin, and he ended in 6th place. Otherwise it went steadily for our part. Odd Arnold ended at 71 place - something we're very happy with. Not bad at all the first time driving the car and first time driving on a track. Now we're going to trim, and welding bar for our dear life until the next race.

Our club NAF Froland had some really great presentations. Victory in the Women and Junior class by siblings Hanne and Espen Ustad. We send our very best congratulations! Really good and fresh driving at the highest level.
